Last week, I made another visit to Wyedean School and Sixth Form Centre in Sedbury.
I met first with the Senior Leadership Team and Head Governor to discuss some of the challenges the school has faced in recent times due to the Coronavirus pandemic, and the effect these challenges have had on the school as a whole.
Then I held a fantastic Q&A session with members of the Student Council and other students including those studying politics. I answered questions on a number of local and national issues, and also gave them an insight into my experience of the last 16 years as Member of Parliament for the Forest of Dean.
I’d like to thank the Leadership Team and the Student Council for the invitation to visit Wyedean. I look forward to another visit to the school in the near future!
