One of the many great parts of being the Member of Parliament for the Forest of Dean is that you often get invited to visit some of the fantastic businesses that we have based here. Last Friday was one of those great days as I visited NewSpace Containers on the Lydney Harbour Estate.
I was taken around the site by Managing Director, Wayne Elliott and Operation Manager Nigel Allen and it was impressive to see the range of cutting-edge manufacturing taking place.
Founded in 2000, Newspace Containers Ltd build bespoke accommodation units to an incredibly high standard. These range from offices, kitchens, toilets, sleeping accommodation, storage and much more. The innovative manufacturing process employed by NewSpace means that they can cater for their clients’ bespoke requirements and can go from design to build and delivery in a very short period of time. They have built up an impressive industry reputation and have provided units for the construction, education, non-profit, healthcare and agricultural sectors.
NewSpace are a fantastic local company, employing over 100 people, and is a great place to work. If you are interested in a career in innovative manufacturing, please do keen an eye on the NewSpace website. If you would like to find out more about NewSpace, I have copied the weblink below.
