After two years away, the Tibberton Show was back and better than ever this Saturday. It was a pleasure to attend, and it was lovely to see so many of my constituents out and enjoying the day.
It was great to talk to many local charities set up at the show, including the Cotswolds Prostate Cancer Support Group, which covers the Forest of Dean and much of Gloucestershire, as well as the local chapter of the Samaritans. It was very interesting to learn more about these organisations’ work and talk to their fantastic volunteers.
There was a great variety of food and drink stalls available at the show from many excellent local producers. I also tried my hand at the activities available on the day including the skittles and being shown around the show by shire horse and cart!
I am pictured below with the many displays at the show, including all of the locally grown fruit and vegetables entered into the annual competition. It was also delightful to watch the many well-behaved dogs compete and perform at the show, as well as the ‘Quack Pack’ sheepdog & duck herding display.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank the organisers of the show. Without all of their hard work over the past few months, this wonderful show would not have been possible.
