Last night (in what was a first for a Forest of Dean MP!) I spoke in a House of Commons debate, virtually via ‘Zoom’, from my home near Ruardean Woodside.
Thankfully, my rescue Labradors Chase and Sophie did not provide backing vocals on this occasion.
While coronavirus social distancing measures continue to be enforced, MPs have been asked by the Speaker to contribute to debates from their homes as a first resort/where possible.
Thanks to the magic of technology, I was able to raise some specific concerns of some local businesses during the Second Reading of the Finance Bill.
