On Tuesday, I asked the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, Sajid Javid MP, a question on housing, in response to the publication of the Housing White Paper.
I stressed the issue that after the Forest of Dean District Council has handed out planning permission to developers, the developers do not build on them, taking up valuable land on which new houses could be built. People cannot live in planning permissions, they need houses, and I was pleased to see the Secretary of State confirm that the Government is beginning to tackle this issue, and I hope to see it resolved in the future.
