Gloucestershire Conservatives have been working to improve roads across Gloucestershire. Before Parliament dissolved, Gloucestershire MPs met with Transport Secretary, Chris Grayling, to discuss the importance of investing in schemes in Gloucestershire, such as the A417 Missing Link.
Locally, Conservatives on the County Council have campaigned for £150 million to be spent on the county’s roads over the next five years, including tens of millions here in the Forest.
Over the last few years, the Forest has benefited from a number of schemes, such as resurfacing on the A48, improvements to the Over roundabout to help reduce queuing, and better pavements.
There is still a lot to do, but Conservatives are committed to improving our local roads.
