I was at Kingsholm today for the Gloucestershire Lift Off jobs, skills and apprenticeship events.
It was a fantastic event, showcasing employers and opportunities across Gloucestershire, including Lucozabe Ribena Suntory and Hartpury University & College.
It was also great to link up KW Bell’s Nicola Bird with the Apprenticeships and Skills Minister, Gillian Keegan, to discuss more about the Cinderford firm’s plans for a construction skills centre in the heart of the Forest of Dean, which has been boosted by just under £2 million of Government funding.
The Lift Off event was set up by Gloucester MP Richard Graham and backed by all 6 of the county’s MPs in order to showcase what opportunities Gloucestershire can offer for our young people during these times.
