Last week I visited Ann Cam Church of England Primary School in Dymock. Ann Cam is a fantastic school which is rated Good by Ofsted.
During my visit, I had a tour of the school, which has a great location on the edge of the village. It was clear to see from my tour that the children were both happy and getting a great education. I then had a meeting with the Headteacher, Mr Chris Ward, and the Governors. At our meeting we discussed some of the projects that the school has been involved in and some of the challenges that they face.
At the end of my visit I had a question and answer session with students from Years 5 & 6. They asked some excellent and intelligent questions ranging from Brexit and the economy to why I became an MP and what I enjoy most about my job.
I very much enjoyed my visit to the school - a credit to the Head, staff, Governors and pupils.
