Conservative candidate, Mark Harper, has supported local businesses during his 12 years serving as the Forest of Dean’s MP.
Mark has frequently supported policies nationally that create a better environment for small and medium sized businesses in the Forest to operate, such as extending small business rate relief, reducing corporation tax, and introducing the National Insurance Employment Allowance, saving businesses up to £3,000 in employer’s National Insurance Contributions.
He also visits local businesses, to discuss how national and local decisions are affecting them, and supports them if they face particular issues.
Local businessman Jason Cross, MD of FAB Recycling, said:
“I know Mark is always keen to support local businesses and I was pleased to welcome him to FAB Recycling in Cinderford. He has always taken a real interest in how we have developed the company.”
